1. Leyfileg notkun

The FoxiFood platform is designed exclusively for legitimate restaurant, food service, and hospitality businesses. You may use the platform to:

• Create and manage an online ordering website for your restaurant or food service establishment;

• Use the admin dashboard for analytics, order management, and business operations;

2. Bönnuð starfsemi

Þú mátt ekki nota FoxiFood vettvanginn til að:

2.1. Ólögleg og skaðleg starfsemi

• Sell, advertise, or distribute illegal or prohibited products or substances;
• Conduct any illegal business activities or facilitate illegal transactions;
• Stunda svik, peningaþvætti eða hvers kyns fjárhagsbrot;
• Auðvelda skattsvik eða búa til sviksamlega reikninga eða kvittanir;
• Operate a business that does not comply with local food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.

2.2. Efnisbrot

• Publish false, misleading, or deceptive menu information, pricing, or allergen data;
• Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights of third parties (trademarks, copyrights, patents);
• Publish content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, or discriminatory;
• Nota myndabankamyndir eða ljósmyndir án viðeigandi leyfis;

• Fail to respond to content complaints or notices from the Provider within the required timeframes set out in Section 5a of this policy.

2.3. Tæknilegt misnotkun

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform's systems, servers, or networks;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform;
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal use;
• Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious software through the platform;
• Perform denial-of-service attacks or intentionally degrade Service performance;
• Exploit security vulnerabilities without responsible disclosure to the Provider;

2.4. Misnotkun á vettvanginum

• Use the platform for any non-food-service business without prior written approval;
• Resell, sublicense, or share access to the platform with unauthorized third parties;
• Use the platform for sending unsolicited messages (spam) or bulk communications;
• Create multiple Accounts to circumvent usage limits, bans, or billing obligations;
• Use the platform to develop, test, or operate a competing product or service.

3. Efnisstaðlar

Allt efni sem þú birtir á FoxiFood verður að:

• Vera nákvæmt, sannleiksbundið og ekki villandi;
• Comply with applicable food safety, consumer protection, and advertising regulations;
• Innihalda nákvæmar ofnæmisupplýsingar eins og lög krefjast;
• Nota aðeins myndir og efni sem þú hefur rétt til að birta;
• Innihalda ekki falin eða villandi atriði.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of all content published through your ordering website. The Provider does not pre-review or verify User content.

4. Auðlindanotkunartakmörk

To ensure fair access for all Users, the following resource limits apply:

Specific limits may vary by plan and are subject to change. The Provider will notify Users of any material changes to resource limits.

5. Eftirlit og framfylgd

Þjónustuveitandinn áskilur sér rétt til að:

• Fylgjast með notkun þjónustunnar vegna samræmis við þessa stefnu;
• Rannsaka tilkynningar um brot;
• Gefa út viðvaranir vegna minniháttar eða fyrstu brota;
• Fresta aðgangi tímabundið vegna rannsóknar á hugsanlegum brotum;
• Permanently terminate Accounts for serious, repeated, or willful violations;
• Fjarlægja eða slökkva á efni sem brýtur gegn þessari stefnu;
• Report illegal activities to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

Where possible, the Provider will provide notice before taking enforcement action, except in cases of serious violations requiring immediate response (e.g., illegal activity, security threats, harm to other Users).

6. Tilkynning og aðgerð (Efnissamræmi)

Þjónustuveitandinn starfrækir alþjóðlegt tilkynningar- og viðbragðskerfi (notice-and-action) til að taka á meintu ólöglegu efni sem hýst er á vettvanginum (sem, fyrir efni og Notendur í Evrópusambandinu, innleiðir jafnframt reglugerð (ESB) 2022/2065 (reglugerðin um stafræna þjónustu)):

• Hver sem er, einstaklingur eða yfirvald, getur sent Þjónustuveitandanum tilkynningu um efni á pöntunarvefsíðu Notanda sem viðkomandi telur ólöglegt samkvæmt þeim lögum sem gilda um það efni;
• Upon receipt of a valid notice, the Provider will promptly notify the affected User and provide details of the complaint;
• The User must respond to the Provider within 48 hours, either removing or modifying the content, or providing a substantiated explanation of why the content is lawful;
• If the User fails to respond within 48 hours, the Provider reserves the right to restrict access to or remove the allegedly illegal content;
• The User may contest the Provider's decision by submitting a counter-statement within 14 calendar days, explaining why the content should be restored;
• The Provider will review counter-statements diligently and notify the User of its decision within 30 calendar days.

Repeated failure to respond to content notices or persistent publication of illegal content constitutes a serious violation of this AUP and may result in immediate suspension or termination of the Account.

7. Tilkynning brota

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us at: support@foxi.food

Please include a description of the violation, the Account or website involved (if known), and any supporting evidence. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

8. Breytingar á þessari stefnu

The Provider reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated in accordance with Section 21.1 of the Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
